I earned my degree in Occupational Therapy from the College of Health Related Professions at SUNY Downstate. I have worked in a variety of settings including homes, schools, hospitals and private clinics. In addition to working a Play & Say Speech Services I also work at the Pediatric Rehabilitation Department in Children's Specialized Hospital in Toms River, NJ. Previously I worked at Applied ABC Early Intervention Agency, where I primarily treated children ages birth - three years with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). I continued my work with this population of students at the Atidaynu Our Future School. I also worked along side Lisa Casale in the Staten Island University Hospital's Pediatric Rehabilitation Department for over two years. There, I applied my knowledge and expertise in treating young children with developmental delay, motor difficulties, and sensory integration disorder both in their homes and within the hospital's facility. I specialize in the treatment of children ages birth - adolescence with developmental disabilities and sensory integration disorder. I have a strong background working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and am trained in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) instruction. I believe in the utilization of a combination of sensory, behavior, and naturalistic approaches to therapeutic intervention tailoring my therapy to each individual's needs.
